But we felt that was not enough! And to make your celebration even more interesting, we have come up with a list of some more horror films that you can enjoy with your family throughout this Halloween season. So, let’s get started and begin our list of another 5 horror movies that will turn your Halloween mode on!

Are you ready to get scared this Halloween season? Well, here begins our list of horror movies to rekindle the spirit of Halloween in you.

1. The Addams Family (1991)

The Addams Family

Well, this particular flick doesn’t terrify you, rather it makes you amused all along. Based on the cartoon series of the same name (created by Charles Addams), Addams Family is a movie released in 1991.Meet the Addams Family, that is full of people that are kooky and creepy. Gomez Addams is the head of the family, who tells his lawyer, Tully that he has not spoken to his brother, Fester, in many years. But somehow a Fester imposter try to fit in the family, which gets quite difficult for him. The house of Addams Family is full of dark magic, and when they are forced to adopt the outside world, it gets hard for them as well. And if that is not it, then Wednesday, the disturbed Addams daughter, her brother Pugsley, the disembodied hand, the butler Lurch, and last but not the least, Gomez’s better half Morticia Addams will make you all intrigued throughout. Watch this movie to get in the spirit of Halloween.

2. Get Out (2017)

The latest movie on our list and a must watch indeed, 'Get Out' was released in January 2017. The directorial debut of Jordan Peele, 'Get Out' stars Daniel Kaluuya and Allison Williams. Chris Washington (played by Daniel Kaluuya) is a black photographer who falls in love with Rose Armitage (Allison Williams), her white girlfriend. This story of a young interracial couple takes a darker turn when Chris hs to meet the mysterious estate of Rose’s parents. Chris was already nervous wondering how Rose’s parents would react to their daughter dating a black guy, but to his dismay, he finds out that something is really mysterious about them. A movie that not only scares you, 'Get Out' is a mirror of the status of race relations in the US today. A perfect treat for Halloween!

3. Casper (1995)


Will a Halloween movie list be ever complete without Casper? Well, definitely not! You’ve got to watch Casper to complete your Halloween movie marathon. A story about a paranormal expert and his daughter, Kat, who head towards an abandoned mansion as a part of their mission, Casper is a movie that will undoubtedly give you a great time. And the best part of the movie starts when Kat befriends a ghost named Casper. Kids love this movie, and watching this flick on Halloween isn’t a bad idea for adults alike as it will leave you all nostalgic. 

4. The Little Vampire (2000)

So, what do you get when you put a very famous children’s book series into 95 minutes long movie, it is none other than the 2000 comedy horror ‘The Little Vampire’. A movie that revolves around a young boy, Tony who becomes a friend of a young vampire, Rudolph. Tony has to save Rudolph from a ruthless vampire hunter named Rookery and help his friend to search for a magical amulet which will help Rudolph and his family to turn into humans again. So, this Halloween watch this movie to see whether Tony becomes successful in helping his friend or not.

5. Scream (1996)


Get ready to get all terrified this Halloween season! Scream franchise has extended up to 4 movies now but the 1996 movie is a pure classic. The Ghostface killer made its first-ever appearance in Scream. The antagonist is spreading his terror killing teenagers all around in a small town. To face him off, a girl and her group make a plan. But not all are lucky enough to survive? Who will endure and who will fall prey to death? Find it by yourself watching this horror flick this season.

BONUS: Monsters Inc. (2001)

A Disney classic, Monsters Inc. won’t scare you at all but definitely, give you a very good time. At Monsters Inc., the most important thing is to scare the kids, as it is necessary to power the town of Monstropolis. The mayhem starts when a little girl enters the monster town and makes the monsters realize that kids aren’t that bad. This movie will definitely bring a smile on your face this Halloween.
