Conor’s flamboyant and outspoken attitude and his pre-match trash talking abilities place him in the league of the great Muhammad Ali. In a photo shoot for the Official UFC Magazine, Conor McGregor was made to pose the exact same way Muhammad Ali had posed for Sports Illustrated with bundles of money in his hand inside a bank vault. The tribute was taken very graciously by the fans of the combat sports community and this put him on a pedestal.
Conor McGregor was bullied when he was a child. Can you believe that? When a young Conor McGregor used to come home from school, his major concern was not to show his mother his report card, but to think of ways to fend off bullies. Conor was relatively smaller in size and height as compared to his counterparts. Conor even started carrying a weighted dumbbell in his school bag in order to defend himself from the bullies. It is pretty obvious that he does not need that dumbbell nowadays. As a matter of fact, he started training in combat sports because he hated being bullied. Many combat sports athletes had begun their journey in various martial arts because of the same reason.

Athletes all over the world and especially combat sports athletes have a common superstition when it comes to sex. Athletes would usually abstain from sexual activity almost weeks or even months before a big fight. He gets the damn job done. Similar statements were made by Rhonda Rousey when she too stated during an interview that she tries to have plenty of ‘endurance training’ before a fight. Both the fighter have a thing in common. They both like finishing fights early.
