FIFA World Cup is the most illustrious footballing tournament in the world. The international tournament is hosted by FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) for senior men’s/women’s football teams across the globe. The men’s event takes place every four years since the inaugural tournament in 1930. However, it was not held in 1942 and 1946 because of the World War II (another reason to hate the World War). Since the first edition of the tournament, there have been 20 FIFA World Cups in 16 different nations. The running FIFA World Cup 2018 takes the tally to 21 editions in 17 different countries.
